Demystifying AES - 42 Digital Microphones - The Most Misunderstood Newcomers on the Technology Scene.

AES-42 Digital Microphones are one of the most exciting and potentially revolutionary developments to come along in decades - but not for some of the reasons you might think. They're also one of the most misunderstood newcomers on the technology scene. Unlike many new technologies and products which are supposed to be better merely because they're new, AES-42 allows us new insight into some old problems. Digital microphones offer the very real potential of solving some of the most long-standing and intractable problems of the Broadcast Audio world.

Join CTV's Michael Nunan for an in-depth look at this rapidly maturing technology. Drawing on 5 years of daily experience with AES-42 in an array of broadcast and music environments, Michael will introduce AES-42 from the perspective of practical implementation and workflows.
